hey guysh!somebody called USCIS, tier 2 told them that their petition with NOA2 date Sept 10 was shipped to NVC last Oct 10.im hoping there telling the truth, so i guess those of you between this dates will hear great news this week!!really hoping we are included this week, hopefully..

I so hope this is true. DOS is closed today being public holiday but we are going to call everyday. NOA2 - 4 Sept.

I have been following this thread since me and my fiancé have applied for a fiancé visa (California Service Center). We received our NOA1 on may, 08th, and apart from the attribution of the alien number on may 13th, our case hasn't moved. I see on this topic that lots of people got approved already (congrats really, it's a big thing). On VJ it is said that application filed in July are currently being processed. Anyone has any idea as to why some applications take much more time? Any may filers in our case?

Ironically, today I looked at the timeline data on VJ which says this : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 19, 2013 and July 6, 2013*.

We called USCIS but they just told us to wait... Anyway, we are lucky to be able to see each other a lot, so it's alright but if anyone has any insight I would be interested.

Hang in there. I know you are not alone. There are few that haven't been approved yet. Maybe call thru to USCIS and ask for service request to make sure your file hasn't been misplaced.

What does that mean exactly? Has that person advanced beyond that stage despite the status?

I think you are referring to the alien number change. But no, that means that are yet to have an approval from USCIS. They dont have NOA2 yet.

And since you are EAC your file went to Vermont which means by the way things are going now, you should get your case number relatively quickly. Unlike me and alot of CSC filers who are waiting 40+ days. You should get your case number within 2 weeks once your USCIS approval (NOA2) comes thru

Hi Everyone, I am fairly new here. I just found the site while searching for timelines. We applied for the K-1 Visa in May. It was accepted by the USCIS on May 7. It was approved on September 11. My fiancee is in Rio de Janeiro but is moving to Michigan. I am going completely crazy missing him. I just want to get him here spend my life with him. So far, nothing from the NVC. As of last Wednesday, the USCIS still had his info in their office. They said that they can hold it for 30 days so IF they sent it out on Friday (a month after the approval), the NVC "might" have it. Now I get to wait for NVC to do their thing and then they have to get it to the embassy. I'm reading the timelines on here and finding them extremely confusing and depressing. I was hoping to have my fiancee here before Christmas but now I am wondering if he will even be here before Easter. Has anyone who filed in May (Especially through California service center with the beneficiary being from Rio) got any farther than me. Ther are 144 pages and I am finding nothing yet. I need hope. I miss my guy terribly. I am sure you can relate.

Hang in there. NVC case numbers are taking a while for CSC filers. I'm waiting too.. NOA2 4 Sept. Today is our 3rd yr anniversary and my fiance is on the phone to DOS as I type this... I think it's about 41 days waiting now for us. You'll be soon too

My case was sent to Texas early August. But i guess i'll always be VSC.

Nothing here either. NVC still has no record of our case. Whatever happened to that transporter beam. I just want to dive through Skype nad bring him home. I have so many Skymiles that his flight is gonna be just the $53 taxes but I am now out of vacation time and with the pending K-1 Visa he's not likely be approved a travel visa.

I certainly know that feeling. I wish I could jump thru my webcam and go home.

The medical clinic in Melbourne, Australia allow to book in without case number. As long as the case number is provided on the day.

Althou, I have just called the clinic and told them about the NVC delay. I asked if an alien number would be ok to use if case number have not been given yet. And turns out that they will accept my alien number (that I found on our RFE) instead of case number.

It has made me a very happy girl.

Sometimes it pays to wait as medical results uaully expire within 1 yr. The closer to the interview the better as you may still be able to use your medical result for AOS. If there are anymore delays for us, then I may have to do the medical again in USA. I guess there are pros and cons about doing it early and the same with having it done just before interview.

The I-134 from my fiance is ready to be sent to me, so when that arrives, I'll be ready for consulate and interview straight away.

we just called USCIS customer service and talked to a tier 2.she said ours was sent already last Oct 05 but i dont know why until now we dont get our case number..now im doubting if they are really telling the truth.we will try this week to call them everyday.soooo frustrated!!!

btw, we saw a NOA2 sept05 that just got their case number yesterday..so start calling guys and update your timeline..

I got a question..is filing DS 260 is a ground for denying a visa? I filled up the DS 260 which ive read it should be DS 160. Im so worried right now. Im scheduled to have my interview on the 29th.
