Thanks Nurselling. I wont put my life story here, but yes, I am a true survivor, as are my children. We have all been thru so much. The man in my life and my childrens life now has the utmost respect for me and my children. He accepts us as a package. Yes, we have baggage, but we have so much of a future to work on now. My head is high and my heart is stronger than ever before. The light is shining brightly.

Yes, I'm going to take Ryan and your advice. I'm going to call the clinic just in case my Dr. hasn't left yet or to make an app to see another dr. I have Plan A, B, C & D. So one of them should be able to help me and I wont go without the letter.

And yes, I'm praying the case number comes thru this week. 40 days is long enough.

It seems you have been through a lot. I am so happy you were strong enough for you and your children to dust yourself off and keep walking. Sometimes when life dishes us out a horrible deal and we are strong enough to get through it good things are sure to come. That's my philosophy any way. Hello Vjer! I missed all of you!!!

I just got back from hospital becuse my mother got sick and I took care of her.

By the way, I am on the process of adopting a baby boy but since the adoption is not yet final I cannot bring him. The baby boy was with me since he was born but the papers got delayed because always changed her mind.

As for my case, its READY now and I just paid the visa today. Still have to wait for few hours to set an appointment.

Sorry to hear about your mum I hope she is recovering well now.

Fantastic news your going to adopt that's great. Hope it won't take too long for you and your baby to be together once the adoption papers are sorted out.

Glad to see things are moving along for you. My interview is next week Tuesday 22nd October. Let us know when your schedualled to go for yours.

Glad your Mum is doing better. She's lucky to have someone take good care of her.

Such a great thing you are doing with the adoption. I do hope the adoption process becomes final soon so you can all be a family together.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is progressing as fast as possible!

Just to give my fellow May filers and update. My fiance arrived in Naples today and will have the medical tomorrow and the interview on the 16th! I'm a nervous wreck, but it's due to the fact that we're almost done and will probably be getting married within a month! My fiance is the one being calm and collected as we know we've provided quality evidence.

Anyways, I'll give you another update on Wednesday. :)

We're still waiting on our NOA2, really hoping it's going to be an approval, but we'd love to know things in advance and not a whole lot of people from Italy post on here.

We've been in direct contact with the IV department at Naples since July and they sent us the Packet 3 and notified us of our medical and appointment dates via e-mail (assuming that is the "letter").

By going this route and quite simply asking for "an interview date as soon as possible" and they provided me a date two weeks after having received our packet from NVC.

They're nice people to work with so just be polite and I'm sure they will be helpful for you as well. :)

Hey all,

I have been following this thread since me and my fiancé have applied for a fiancé visa (California Service Center). We received our NOA1 on may, 08th, and apart from the attribution of the alien number on may 13th, our case hasn't moved. I see on this topic that lots of people got approved already (congrats really, it's a big thing). On VJ it is said that application filed in July are currently being processed. Anyone has any idea as to why some applications take much more time? Any may filers in our case?

Ironically, today I looked at the timeline data on VJ which says this : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 19, 2013 and July 6, 2013*. oops8rh.gif

We called USCIS but they just told us to wait... Anyway, we are lucky to be able to see each other a lot, so it's alright but if anyone has any insight I would be interested.
