we are at a standstill at the moment. I am so upset with my fiance. He wanted until we got the NOA2 to apply for his childrens passport. He paid for the 2 week expedite but instead of filling out the form himself he paid a lawyer to do it so we don't know when they will be in and I need the info form the passports to fill out the DS-260.

I wonder if they can do their medical with just the case number, id number and A number...I am a bit confused as what to do next. Some in the Jamaica forum says they don't use the DS-260 to send the DS-230 instead. Some say the other and some say they did both to be on the safe side...I am lost

It should take too long for passports to come back.. Keep your chin up smile.png

Wow its nice to hear all of you who have gone on to NVC!!! Unfornately i'm still stuck waiting for NOA2 as i had an RFE for info they apparently lost.

OMGoodness.. I feel for you. I so wish that something happens for you very soon. Keep on their backs about finding or processing another RFE so you can reply promptly.

It shouldn't take too long to get a replacement passport. Mine took 3 days from NVC to in-transit. Then a week to ready.

Yes well to be honest London still dragging their feet on interview dates so don't worry you have plenty time to get your passport and do your medical.

Hooray finally a interview date. Just had the post delivered looks like I don't need to call them today after all. Well the interview is booked for the 22nd October. That's in 11 days time wow. Fingers crossed everything goes well. I was given instructions to pay the courier service online before attending the interview. I noticed they wrote in bold Before. I guess this is when all the fun begins. I understand people have a whale of a time trying to pay the courier fee. I shall be busy today I guess lol.

Remember to follow the instructions exactly (e.g. hit "Apply for K1 Visa" first on the site, do all that then you can book the courier and all).

1/28/2014 I-765 application for employment authorization in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent.

2/7/2014 (day11) noa1 hard copy arrived in the mail for I-485 I-131 I-765

2/14/2014 (day18) biometric appt letter arrived in the mail. Appt schedualled for 2/26/2014 11.00am.

2/18/2014 (day 22) biometrics successful walkin.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

Managed to register. Not so complicated was quiet straight forward actually.

Fingers crossed we get approved now.

Too right you are Ryan. Only I kept seeing on the London bread people having problems that I was thinking it would be a head banking in a brick wall experience but it really wasn't.

07/29/2013 NOA2 Approval email from USCIS

08/03/2013 NOA2 Hard Copy Recieved

08/16/2013 file sent to NVC

08/19/2013 Called DOS told NVC received file case number given.

08/21/2013 file in transit to London embassy as stated on CEAC website also spoke to DOS to confirm

08/28/2013 file ready according to CEAC website

08/30/2013 packet 3 sent with DS-2001

O9/05/2015 medical appointment

09/06/2013 packet 3 arrived in the mail.

09/10/2013 CEAC update medical result received by embassy

10/04/2013 CEAC update dos says waiting to give interview date

10/11/2013 packet 4 interview letter arrived

10/22/2013 interview at London embassy

10/22/2013 Approved the visa

10/29/2013 visa delivered

12/02/2013 POE In Atlanta Georgia

1/27/2014 arrived at PO Box Chicago lock box waiting to be picked up

1/31/2014 I-485 accepted receipt number and hard copy has been sent. Processed at National Benefits Centre.

June 18, 2015 EAD CARD APPROVED AWAITING DELIVERY!!!

June 24,2015 EAD/AP combo card picked up by USPS

June 25, 2015 EAD/AP card received

October 6, 2015 email stating greencards in production!!!
