Congrats. 41 days... WOW thats a long time. I notice you are from CSC too.. Maybe I need to wait that long too. You're one step closer to being with your loved one. Congrats!!!!

Careful! The CEAC site is very generic and though it might say you have an interview date that tends to be for the other visa types. Usually you get your interview date after you've sent all your forms into Kingston and had the medical done. It varies from embassy to embassy so check their website.

I would agree with Ryan on this Blakcajun. This is generic and is the information given to all of us. The interview is arranged by the consulate. I found out the hard way too by calling dos. They say its a clich or a error in their system.

Hey Blackcajun. Nurseling and Ryan&Amy are correct. This msg means that it is being transferred to the consulate. The interview is not set until we send all the paperwork in abd the embassy arranges an interview for you from there.

When I call DOS from Australia. I call within the last 30mins of closing time and pretty much get straight thru or a wait of 2mins or less. My fiance called NVC and he said the same. Hard to get NVC, but might be easier again before closing time.. (DOS/NVC on East coast time)

DOS closing time is 12 hrs exact from now, except on Wed.

Yes but do you notice that those who have gotten their case numbers today (Congrats to all btw) , have all been from VSC. I'm with CSC and they are being snails.

Around the same time we are September 12th and we are also at csc hopefully they will receive our petitions quick!!!!!
