If only. It would make more sense lol. I

Mine went to post decision straight away too. As for NVC its a few weeks possibly more to wait for your case to be forwarded to NVC. It doesn't go straight away even though the letter they send says your case will go to your consulate. It actually goes via NVC then consulate and then when they send it to the consulate you recieve another letter in the mail saying the address of the consulate they have sent it too. Keep busy for now and enjoy the good news till it goes to NVC.

To add to what Nursling said, try and download packet 3, if available at your fiance(e)'s country's embassy website, so you know what you send to your fiance(e) for the interview.

Typically you should send:

  1. Signed Fiance(e) letter of intent with a new date (original)
  2. Affidavit of Support with original signature
  3. Copy of 2012 Tax Return or Tax transcripts
  4. Copy of W2
  5. Letter from Employer
  6. Copy of your last 4 paystubs
  7. Evidence of ongoing relationship (phone logs, text logs, Instant Messenger logs, proof of you going back there to visit them, etc etc)
  8. Certified copies of: Birth Certificate, Death Certificate of Deceased Spouse (if applicable), Divorce Decree (if applicable), and any other official documents they may require.

What I recommend also sending along:

  1. Statements from friends/family/co-workers stating that your relationship is genuine and why they support it, etc.
  2. Copy of your entire I-129F petition with original signatures where the USC needs to sign, and the original date you signed it on.

I could be missing something though. smile.png

Hi All! :) My fiance got the hardcopy of RFE today. But it was dated Sept 10. We didn't receive any email or text and when i looked at the uscis website, our status didn't change. Anyway, I think it's still good because our paper is moving. We'll be sending more letters and pictures this time. I just want to let you know so some of those who got transferred from vsc-tsc will have an idea that our papers arent lost afterall. :) I also changed my timelines just like what AYSIDRAK advised. :) Good luck to all of us! :) Now, I am getting excited again. :)

What??! This makes me nervous even more :( Did you call USCIS why this happened? And it's really sent from them? Our petition hasn't been touched since 13 aug, I'm worried this happened to us as well :( My fiancé is in Paris for work this week..

The last time I received an email was August 13 too. that was when TSC received our papers. And yes it's from uscis and "request for evidence" is written on top. I havent called them yet. I plan to call them after we submit our response to the rfe, just to be sure they receive our response. We're still on the process of printing and making the affidavits of our friends. Maybe your fiance should ask someone to check the mail for him just incase.

Hi all VJ members May filer.

Need help.

We just received NoA2 early on September and had our USEM case number. When we proceed in filling the form for USEM, I just noticed the the employment history of the beneficiary (Pinay) that was submitted to USCIS has a bit typo error. it's like this:

---- Company A - from 2007 to present - jr office clerk

---- Company B - from 2003 to 2007 - office clert

Company A & B are sister company. the beneficiary is working in the back office. Same chairman & immediate head from the time the benefiaciary started 2003 to present. Company B was closed that was the reason contract is under A.

Now the detailed working history should be:
Company A ---- from 2009 to present - jr office clerk
Company B ---- from 2007 to 2009 - jr office clerk

Company B ---- from 2003 to 2007 - office clerk

Please let us know what to do.
