Getting Concerned: USCIS still hasn't cashed check.

USCIS California Service Center received my I751 packet on Monday April 22. I have been checking our bank account everyday and see the check still hasn't been cashed. Every time I try to see how long it takes for most people's checks to be cashed it's only a couple days. It has been almost two weeks, in our case. I haven't received any letters from them either. I'm getting worried. Did this happen to anyone else?

Last year, it took them a month to cash my check and send the NOA1. It is nothing to worry about.

Have you joined the April filers thread? There you can check timelines with other people who filed with you.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I agree with HT on not fretting too much. I notice that most applicants who send personal checks don't get their NOA right away. I've never cared about tracking when my checks for USCIS would get cashed so I always sent a money order. Got no problems receiving my NOAs in the mail in less than 10 days.

Good luck on your ROC!
