I just have a question...not sure if it has ever been posed before, but.has anybody else ever wondered why some people wait months for interviews in Lagos, and others get within a couple of weeks after case complete, and even earlier dates?.....just wondered, if there's a formula or process that's used to schedule interviews?

I guess this is where the PD comes into affect...so, if all goes well without an RFE and case is complete then your case will just sit til PD date, that formula would work except, there are miracle cases...It might be more human input into the system.

Well since we been doing the Interview list (October 2012 we started it) it is all about slots the embassy has for IR1/CR1 which frankly are very few.

Like January there were 5 people for Nigeria waiting for interview 2 got dates. So the rest of the 3 wanted until March 1st week and got April interviews.

There's no formula or magic bullet. Remember there are us on VJ and all the others outside of VJ. But looking at how people report in reviews seems no more than about 5 to 10 a day get interviews for spousal visas. The rest of time is for K1 and Visitor Visas.

The interviews are assigned in Case Complete order. Your PD has no barring on it at all.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Thanks, Dwheels, I thought so, but wasn't sure. And, I didn't think of all the other couples not on VJheadbonk.gif
