What exactly does a service request do?Called USCIS

So Since aug im still waiting for my no2. On march5 they recieved my RFE reply and called the vermont center and a very nice lady sounded like she actually cared! Anyway i just asked whats going on and she said let me look into it. Shes like ok I can put a service request in, i didint even ask for it. Since they said 60 says, it has not been 60 days yet for the RFE though? Thats what I dont understand or does it go from no1 time? ALso what happens with a service reuest? She said something about 15 days they give you an update on what?

Not to be discouraging but..............Service Request = Nothing.................based on my numerous service requests over 373 days
