Hi VJ members, i am asking for some assistance from anyone who is going through the same process as i am. I have been having some problems with the DS- 230, DS-156, DS-156k and DS-157 forms,my fiance had sent these forms to me in an email and i download them fill them out and email each of them back to him, he found out that they were all blank forms and on my side they were all marked secured on the forms. What i want to know is when the forms are filled out and send back to the embassy can they view them or is it protected by the embassy because i am uncertain. Another thing i want to know is how the embassy will mail packet 3.

Why did you fill them out and send them back?

These forms are to be filled out by the immigrant and printed out for the interview.

Only a few forms are electronically sent and they would say so on the form / website before you fill them out.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

If you're trying to show you're fiance the documents before you send them in, you could take a screen shot of the form by pressing the "print screen" (or "prt sc") button (near the delete key) and paste that into a document to send to your fiance. I know that it is my fiance's (the beneficiary's) obligation to fill out, print, and submit the forms at the interview.. but I also want to double check for typos and such.

Those forms are the packet three. How did your fiance get them??? JA usually mails the packet three to the address that was provided. Unfortunately, we are not an electronic embassy for K-1. Therefore you will need to print the forms and mail them to him. You only need to e-mail the embassy, his DS-230 with his scanned signature, that is how we acquire the interview date. If you are going to his interview, then I would just wait and take them with you. He only needs them at his interview.

Here is a copy of the letter that will come with Packet three. Ignore the fees, as you now pay them at the interview.

I think my fiance downloaded them so that's why he sent me those copies, he is my petitioner so i will be going to the interview. Do you know how long packet 3 will take through the local post office?

Depends on your parish, it took us three weeks for Packet 3 in St. Ann. If you are the beneficiary, then you don't need to send him back anything. You keep all the forms for the interview. The information on all the forms pertain to you. You can sign DS-230, scan it and then e-mail to the embassy. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail that they received it.

When did you get NOA2? Work on getting your police certificate, certificate of non-impediment now cause they take some time. Once you get your interview date, you can call and get your medical appointment.

good Luck

I'm having trouble with my DS 230 form.

Do I include the educational institution I currently attend?

And I'm also helping my sister with her form. For item 30 should she put N/A since she's under 16?
