JUST CHECKED MY STATUS:

On October 18, 2013, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Hubby got his passport yesterday!!! Took just a little over a week from the time we gave the post office the application. They told us 4-6 weeks but it came so fast! :) it is finally alllll over!

I interviewed on Sept 12 and passed. I requested to change my first name. It have been 40 days and my status shows "testing". Do you think I need to contact CIS for update or keep waiting? N-562 states that I must wait for 120 for decision

Did you request to change your name when you first submitted the form N400? Or did you request to change your name during the interview when the IO asked you even though on the form N400 you did not request?

I think it's pretty normal for it to take a while for name change. They are scheduling you for a court oath taking as only a judge can sign off on name change. don't worry, you will hear something soon. smile.png

Hello Citizens and soon to be citizens. I had my interview today in the morning at 8am. Officer gave me N-652 Interview result form. I passed the English and history test and he tick marked on Congratulations your application has been recommended for approval. He told me to wait for the oath ceremony mail. Interview was fast and easy. I'll post my experience soon. Does anyone know how long does it take to get oath ceremony after interview?
