Hello everyone,

I received a letter from USCIS stated that your application is pending review now. I have applied for naturalization roughly more than five months ago and completed fingerprinting too.

Please, if anyone had the received the same sort of letter, respond to this text would be highly appreciated.

I need to apply for US passpost ASAP. ALL oath takers green cards were collected/confiscated by the Immigration officer. She said we can apply for an emergency passport if we really need to travel . We were given a packet with everything we need to know after being a US citizen. I registered to the voting people at the lobby . Tomorrow I'm getting my passport pictures and off I go to the post office to apply for a US passport. I am so obsessed to have passport due to my recent experience, my mother died after my interview for US citizenship. I heard the bad news and travelled the same day. It's always better to be ready than sorry.

Hi. my attorney just received email, my application for N-400 is Approved. THANKS TO Almighty Allah.

Please! some body can update my time line. My interview letter date was 7/29/2013 and interview date was 9/5/2013.The website is not updated yet and I personally have not received text or email.

We were put in line Aug 22 for Oath , How long does it usually take to get letter ???? ... I thought for sure by now we would have gotten something in the mail ....Does USCIS send another email saying the Oath was scheduled ????

Hi cbrniner! We're in the same boat! Had my interview on Aug 14 and placed on que on Aug 22 and no oath taking schedule to date. I'm in Las Vegas too. Have you tried calling the 800 number? During interview, the IO told me I should be getting a letter in two weeks and it's been almost a month!

Cbniner, I just had my interview in Las Vegas last monday, the IO said it can take up to 2 months to get the oath schedule there, I don't know why so long but he didn't really wanna go into specifics of how that works.... So I will keep and eye on the oath updates if I get anything I will keep you posted, maybe we get the oath ceremony the same day!! hehehe

I had my Oath ceremony yesterday in Milwaukee - there were 54 of us not sure from how many countries. It was a great experience, and I am really happy that this is now all done, now for the party tomorrow !! Good luck and Best Wishes to everyone!!!!

My ceremony was scheduled for 10am, they then had to process everyone in which took about half hour, the actual ceremony started at 11am - with mine the judge talked about the history of the constitution for about 10 minutes, did the oath (5 minutes) then he talked some more about why it is such a great honor to be a US Citizen this was another 45 minutes. So an hour for the ceremony. If you have a very young child I would not take them unless they can sit still and be quiet, my son is 11 yrs old and said he found it interesting to see the oath but the history lesson he could have done without, or at least a shortened down version!!

Was able to get hold of a Tier 2 IO yesterday. I was told that they are still waiting to fill-up a pool of approved applicants before they will schedule an actual oath taking date. I guess it's a waiting game for now. Last oath taking ceremony here in Vegas was June 18 2013 if I'm not mistaken.

My son's also 11 (12 in November)! We're scheduled at 9 am for the ceremony. My son's school day starts at 7:10 am....just too early for learning!
