FINALLY!!! On September 6, 2013, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location.

We were put in line Aug 22 for Oath , How long does it usually take to get letter ???? ... I thought for sure by now we would have gotten something in the mail ....Does USCIS send another email saying the Oath was scheduled ????

I just got the notice a few minutes ago that the ceremony is scheduled. So we'll see the letter with the actual time in the mail next week. We've been in line since Aug 14. It all depends on your local office's scheduling.

I called USCIS yesterday and asked for the status of the case stating it's been more than 90days inline for scheduling. The lady was super rude. She said you'r 90 days hasn't been up yet. call back on monday. they put me in line on 7th june, now if you count from Normal calender then yesterday was 91st day. Anyways I'll call back and see what they have to say before I set up an infopass appoitment. Oh by the way she mentioned that yes I can see your case is pending but for more information call back on monday. I am very curious about pending statement. Does that mean it's just pending because they have't set up and appoitment yet or does that mean they have having problems with my case and reviewing more? headbonk.gif

My Interview experience in Milwaukee, WI. Appointment time was 9:30am and we got there at 9am. My wife was with me.

10 mins past my appointment time, the interviewer came out and called my name and took me to a room to be fingerprinted (both index fingers) and photographed. The person doing the fingerprinting asked for my GC and took down some notes and said everything was good.
We then went to the interviewer's room, made me take the oath that I'm telling the truth and and she asked the following questions:
What is an amendment?
Who vetoes bills?
Who did we fight in WW2
What is the supreme law of the land
What is the capital of Wisconsin?
What do we show loyalty to when we saw the pledge of Allegiance?
She them asked me to read "Where is the White House located?" and asked me to write "The White House is in Washington D.C".
She then asked for my Green card and drivers license and went over each entry in the application. I had a few corrections and was also getting a name change. She made the corrections and made me acknowledge and sign that there were 6 changes to my application and zero additional supporting documents. She then made me sign the name change petition document in duplicate, and also sign the N400 application and told me I passed and should hear from them about the Oath date soon.
The whole process took less than 15 mins and I was not asked to show any other documents. Not even my passport, marriage certificate, USC wife's documents, or tax returns etc. The interviewer did however have a 6 inch file which was our packet smile.png
Thanks to everyone on this site for all the help and guidance.
Wish you all the best!
