Have you checked on the USCIS site? the yellow letter will tell you what is required to take to the interview.

As Kanga said, the yellow letter just tells you things they want you to bring to the interview that you may or may not have already sent in with your application. Usually you get that letter before your interview is scheduled. I'm guessing you're going to get your interview letter shortly in the mail.

All depends on how busy your field office is. Hang in there. You'll hear something soon.

I got my yellow letter after my interview date letter.

I was approved for citizenship today, and so was my son

The interview was at Milwaukee field office, my appointment was at 10:15am. I went in for my interview at 10:25am so not too bad of a wait. The officer swore me in, she asked me for my drivers license, passport and green card, she did ask who I was there with, I told her my eldest son as he was having his interview at 10:45am, she asked where my husband was (he was at work) and then went through my application line by line.

I was then asked the six questions:

How many representatives are there?

How many years do we vote a representative in for?

Who is the “Father of Our Country”?

Who is the Chief Justice?

Name a war fought in the 1900's?

and the last one I just don't remember, but got them all correct

She then had me read a sentence, and then had me write "Washington was the first President"

She congratulated me and said she would be approving me for citizenship.

I signed a form, but no photos, and then we just chatted for a couple of minutes about the oath ceremony, she said she would mark my file to try and get my sons oath ceremony done at the same time as mine (assuming that he would pass his interview).

In total I was in there for 6 minutes. My son was in his for 7 minutes

I just feel a huge releif that it is almost all done now.

Hi Everyone,

It's nice to hear everyone had pretty much good interview experience. My interview is next monday on august 26. and I'm looking forward to it. I just have a question about the yellow letter. Last Saturday I received a yellow letter that says to bring the following documents. 1/Drivers license , 2/ you indicated that you have been arrested, bring all arrests records and court dispositions. My question is that I have never been arrested, I just had a speeding ticket that was dismissed. It's the one that I disclose in my n400. I answered yes to question 16 because I was cited not arrested. Do you guys know what documents to take with me to the interview. Any folks in here with similar situation. Thanks for your replies.

Apparently this happens quite often. The yellow letter sends out generic messages based on what you checked or didn't check on your form. They smush the citations and arrests into one category on the N400, for what reason only they know.

You don't have any arrests so they are only concerned with the citations and want to know that they were taken care of. If you can get proof that they were paid or dismissed do that and bring it along with you to the interview. If it was a minor incident that didn't involve a DUI or anything like that they'll probably just ask you about it and move on.

Final I'm done with waiting with uscis

In feb 20 I got the approval in my green card and after 6 mothe in same day I got the approval in my citzian

It was very long waiting but it's over
