Hello every body, scheduled for interview inline on 7/8/13, since then nothing is happening at Houston local office?...guys any idea?

I have no idea to be honest. How long did they tell you to wait for the letter before calling?

I did look up April Filers and there is one person that went through the Houston office that seemed slow too. Have a look here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/412738-n-400-april-2013-filers/page-67

I just can't remember if they said wait 30 or 90 days before contacting us at that particular part. Hope you hear from them soon

Just found this from my email: You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address

So you can contact them next week - but I hope you get it before that

Hello every body, scheduled for interview inline on 7/8/13, since then nothing is happening at Houston local office?...guys any idea?

You have to wait 90 days from the in line notice before calling them. I have been in line since June 3rd and still nothing. I hope to get the interview letter within August. You may get the letter any day soon! Good luck! :)

Hi Everyone,

I got a yellow letter yesterday from USCIS Subject: Pre-interview Case File Review

They are asking to bring the last 3 years tax returns doc or transcripts. My only concern is that when we went to file our taxes, the tax expert told us if you guys do it separately, you will get more money in tax returns rather filling as Joint. So my son's name is under my tax returns and my husband filed a separately. Will that be any issue??? Do i need to take my income tax returns as well as my husbands too for the last 3 years???

Besides that we have Joint->bank accounts/Car insurance/Mortgage bill/utility bills/ health insurance.

Please tell me your suggestions, how to deal with this:(

There is some information about that in this forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/346823-married-filing-income-tax-separately/

I will look for more information.

Thanks so much for your help. Now i think i dont need to be scared as even we filed separately, our address is same on the tax docs plus we have a son and other evidence that shows its a legit marriage and we are living together. God Bless you :)

My email (copy posted above) said only 30 days. I think biometrics was 90 days.

It is 30 days if your interview notice has already been sent and is not received.

His was not sent yet, he's just got in-line notification.

Limit waiting time from receiving the in-line notification to receiving the notification telling that your interview is scheduled is 90 days.

Limit waiting time from receiving the notification telling that your interview is scheduled to receiving the actual letter with your interview date and time is 30 days.

Hope this clarifies it :)

My local office is also in Houston and I did some researches on processing time here in Houston...I am pretty sure it takes a month for them to schedule you a an interview in Houston after you got your "in-line" update. Then, the actual interview will be 4 to 5 weeks from the date they send you the interview letter. So you could expect an interview in September. If you are lucky enough to have your interview in the first two weeks in September, you are likely to expect an Oath on the last Wednesday in September.

Hi, Robotvisiontx....actually your time line was reference time line for me, I counted all your days and presumed my timeline with that, believe me , the actions they took are so identical with yours. so God willing my oath will be on 10/10. Take care n bye.

I would say it would either be 9/25 or 10/30 as they only have oath ceremony on the last Wednesday of the month ...they usually have a oath ceremony every one or two months...depends on many applicants they get for the month.
