Note : At the beginning of the above process we also applied for my step son to come from the Philippines , after the approved interview I contacted my state Senator which was Harry Reid , I am Happy to say as of 10-05-2010 he arrived in the US after being quickly expedited

Just got a Yellow letter - says " This is not and Interview Notice " it has recommendations on what to bring ....So does this mean we are in line ??? I never got notified of anything ...

My friend threw a fit when this happened to her lol She ended up getting the interview letter about 2 weeks later, so it is GOOD news :)

Just got this notice on case status:

On June 21, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed.......l

Hopefully I will get the letter in mail soon!

Just got a Yellow letter - says " This is not and Interview Notice " it has recommendations on what to bring ....So does this mean we are in line ??? I never got notified of anything ...

I would think they would just send a regular checklist like that along with the interview letter. In your case, are they asking for something in addition to the normal doc requirements like additional evidence of marriage etc? If not, I wonder why they sent you that before placing you in line.

Sounds like good news though :)

Didn't hear anything yet after my Bio on 5/28 sad.png its annoying.

Have you checked My Case Status on the USCIS site? Waiting is the worst.

I think USCIS will be just as happy to see the last of me as I am of them lol I have never had a bad experience, everyone has always been very pleasant but as soon as I see the USCIS sign I turn into a blithering idiot! It is like it has a way of stopping my brain lol They must think Aussies are all dopey :(

Hi there, yes i checked the USCIS web site too and there is no update on my case status there as well :( I am just wondering usually how long will it take for Chicago residents to go thorough this process? Don't see people from Chicago in these forums.
