I want to ask for some documentations back.. Mainly for the English translation of our marriage certificate. (I know, dumb I didn't make a copy!) I need it for the NVC..

Can someone here in the states translate it? because my hubby did it there in his country. And it's a HUGE pain going back to where he translated it. I feel bad b/c it is my fault I didn't tell him to make a copy. I said we prob. didn't need one again dry.png Which obviously, when he does come, we will need it.

Anyway, I heard that the g-884 form takes very long to actually receive the docs! I read two people say that on here. And someone said 3-6 months!!! Whattttttttttttt ? That is crazy..

Is it true? If so, why sooo long??

08/14/2015 - Sent out I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions

09/15 - Recv'd temporary green card paper extended for 1 year

03/24/2016 - Received biometrics appt in mail

03/25/2016 - Early walk-in for biometrics (NO LUCK FOR THAT DAY, approved for following Monday)

03/28/2016 - Biometrics & fingerprints taken

07/01/2016 - Received notification to receive green card within 90 days ; 07/07/2016 - Green card received!

Edit: All documents not in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator

So, is it okay that the certificate is in spanish then, since that is the official language? ( I know it sounds so stupid asking, but I just want to be 10000% before I send off just the spanish version?
