I understand the idea behind keeping porn of those under 18 illegal. The thing is, what do you do when those under 18 make the porn themselves?

If you are a senior in high school and you're dating someone who doesn't have exactly the same birthday as you, you will, at some point, be (legally) a child molester unless you immediately cut off the relationship when you turn 18, and then start it up as a new relationship when your partner turns 18.

And yes, an 8 year old and a 17 year old are very, very different. This is for sure. The problem is, I don't know how old the person my neighbor had a sexual encounter with was, so I don't know what to think of my neighbor. If it was a 17 year old, I wouldn't really be worried. Obviously if it was an 8 year old, I would be a lot more concerned.

We had a well publicized case here in GA. Genarlow Wilson a 17 year old , was sentenced to 10 years for having consul sex with a 15 year old. The girl was only about 1 and a few months younger than wilson. He actually served 2 + years before he was released. Such BS.

His parents should serve time for naming their kid Genarlow.

understanding liability seems to be a problem for you.

a public school can't have kids bringing in drugs and taking them without some sort of control exercised by the school. why? parents can sue the school if their kids take a medication they didn't want them to. a parent of a kid who gets an aspirin from another student while on school property can technically sue the school. that's why you have to register medications with the school nurse and have the school nurse administer medication.

so, this isn't a matter of 15 year olds being unable to take aspirin to school. you seemed upset. hopefully now you understand a little better.

no. her parents would have to write a release to the nurse in order for the nurse to give their daughter the pill. if the school nurse is giving out the medicine, parents have to give their permission.

I really feel that any reason to bring it to school is totally negated by the availability of purchasing at the drug store. sure - purchase a bottle of water at the same time, take pill and water together once outside the door of the pharmacy.
