after 4 months is very good, congratulations.

got surprised too coz i was expecting it to get approved in 6 to 8 months based on vermont and california service centers ..we have no clue since our I130 is in NBC and there's no way to track the processing time. dancin5hr.gif

thanks! so here's another journey for NVC..

Just a question, is it possible to delay NVC processing because my dad is working overseas on a contract basis which will finish by end of january 2014?

You actually set the pace once the case is in NVC. So the answer is YES, you can delay the process.

Keep us posted.. I am so excited for my mom... Hope she will get approved too early..

My advice to u.. Since theres a common problem to our old parents.. Go get her a pre general check up in ur nearest hospitals.. So that by the time , she sched for her st luke.. She is clear.. And also she will get treated as early if something wrong to her health, like xray...so that theres no delayed for her visa process.. Coz i read some visa journey, thats the common problem.. Good luck

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

MY I-130 FOR IR5 WAS APPROVED BY NBC ON APRIL O5, 2013 AND RECEIVED THE 1-797 NOA2-APPROVAL NOTICE ON APRIL 12, 2013, ON MAY 3, MY PETITIONER CALLED NVC AS WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM BOTH OF THEM AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM USCIS NBC, CALLED USCIS THE ONLY ANSWER THEY GAVE TO MY ETITIONER IS "WE WILL TRY TO LOACATE FOR IT"
