Also a question: on the USCIS website link for the I-864 it states this -

Edition Date :

03/22/13. USCIS will accept previous editions dated 09/19/11 until June 23, 2013. After June 23, 2013, USCIS will only accept the 03/22/13 edition.

But the older version here -

Correct me but if your children are getting income (death of parent insurance) it comes i their name.

You can't use that can you?

I mean a minor can't complete a I-864A and have the income considered. Correct.

A sponsor must be at least 18 years old and either an American citizen or a lawful permanent resident (LPR). The sponsor must also have a domicile (residence) in the United States.

Its the same form scrolled to the bottom of page and you see the 09/19/2011 date. Its all good.

Might I suggest you get in touch with your local senators office to see if they can help? Although the certified copy of the certificate (if issued by the same authority) will do, I'm sure you will feel,better if you get the original back. Call the senators office and explain your issue and that you do need it asap and the issues you have faced with trying to get it, perhaps they can ask and thus speed up the process for you, or at least offer you some clarification on when you may get it back?

ALSO: does ANYONE have a copy of the old version of the I-864a for me?!? It was issued at the same time as the new I-864 form (that's causing major delays for some) and I'm scared to send the new one with the old I-864 I'm sending. I'm sure it will have the same delaying issues.

Just called the NVC the new forums for i864 are put on hold and they don't know when are they going to starts reviewing them

yep i filled jointly ,then i need to send w2 forms along with the package.for the transcripts do we order then online or over the phone.

Congrats on the approval. I already got an approval email from NVC (on 05/29) and just now, I just received an email with the invoice info but when I logged into payment portal, it has not been put in yet. Has anyone else had the same problem ????

in the new AOS form 864 ,can you please tell me what's the difference between current individual income in part 6 question 5 and part 6 question 13a most current year.

what should i put in each one.?

If that's true, then why didn't you ask for the date over the phone?

Idk I guess I was excited to hear that it was complete so I just said ok.I called again lol and now the other lady confirmed that the case is complete but she said that the interview date wasn't set yet.But I know what the first one said lol Because when I asked her about it she said: yes it is scheduled and you will get the confirmation email with all the details in it.So somebody is getting it wrong Either way, case is complete and since our embassy is not so bussy I hope we get a date soon!

That would be really great if everything goes fine without original. I emailed service center about this matter yesterday. Let's see how they gonna reply. I am trying to maintain testimony as much as possible so that I can show them if I asked for original.

Question 5 is asking about your CURRENT individual annual income. So, put how much you're currently making annually.

Question 13 is asking about your previous year's incomes, based on your tax information. This amount will be from your 1040 forms.
