I did call and they said that it hasn't been 20 business they told me to call back on June 1 by then they will finished the review

Did you send the old AOS or the new one ? Just curious because u said the AOS got accepted.

I send the older version. They are still accepting the old one until June 23 2013. I resubmitted my AOS on May 13.

Hi,

I'm still waiting on an NVC number, but I want to get all my ducks in a row with all the forms etc.

If we send in our AOS packet before June 23rd, would it be better to send the OLD I-864 form?

Is there an old I-864a form, or does this just affect the I-864 forms?

Are they not processing the new forms until June23rd!?

Have they stopped ALL AOS processing until the issue is fixed, or just the NEW I-864's?

Any further updates on your situations would be very helpful!

You can send either one, new or old I864/1864A. But if you are sending old one it should reach NVC by June 23. They are processing both the forms now.

Got the AOS bill finally! It still shows IN PROCESS (as I just paid it 5 minutes ago), but they already gave me the barcoded cover sheet for AOS a few minutes after submitting payment.

So my questions is.... why do I have to wait for it to show PAID to send AOS? Why can't I mail it now?

You don't -technically- need to wait since the bar-coded cover sheet is available upon paying. The only reason it's recommended is in case something goes wrong with the payment and it's declined.

If you don't want to wait for it to say PAID, at least wait for the payment to clear your bank account as that's a good indication the payment will go through.

I did the new forum i864 it's been almost 20 days and every time I call I get a different answer I just called to ask if i can send the old one even if I already sent the new one she said no and that all the new forum are on hold

Morning everyone!

Called the NVC to check our documents had left the building on the 24/05 and they indeed left.

For some reason, I can not track the package as instructed by others in this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/page-74#entry6255599.

However, I was also told that the NVC sends a paper version (the forms we send) and an electronic version so effectively embassies receive our files the minute NVC clicks a button!

I was able to send first the iv packet last week, And finally my husband send today AOS and expecting nvc recieved it tomorrow, we send the old form and when can I follow up about the IV and Aos that they already input in the system. I expect to have a checklist on Police Clearance. i already call the Hospital for the medical. I cannot get the medical unless I had the Interview schedule so mean waiting to get everything hope not too wait long. My embassy is Singapore
