Our case just left NBC today at 2PM when it was "logged out"!

Now its status is "In Transit", but ISO couldn't confirm where to :), so we hope it's to NVC! She wanted to make a SR to make sure it goes to NVC, but couldn't because we already have a pending SR from a week ago.

So hopefully by Tuesday NVC will have some good news for us.

We are already on day 51 since NOA2, and from Saylin's spreadsheet there were only 5 other cases this year that took longer than that. Not the way I would wish to make into the top 10%.

what took it so long? well i hope you get your case number soon, goodluck!

This seems to happen more and more...

If a case is approved by a local office, it seems that they retain the NOA2 for a while, or even send it somewhere totally different than the NVC...

This is happening to us too. We live out of the country and don't have those either, so our file is under supervisor review as well. We're calling everyday!

Same thing here. I also live abroad. Supervisor is using my foreign income tax schedule, but I still have to wait for the review. I've been waiting 5 business days so far. Nothing yet! I'm hoping to hear something soon. It is very frustrating having to wait when you sent everything you were supposed! But that's life I guess.

Yeah, ours went in on the 20th for review and as of today, it's still under review :( so now we have to wait out this long weekend >.< let me tell you, this process teaches you so much patience....... Hopefully the three of us get some good news soon! Come on supervisors!!!! Haha :) good luck to everyone who's waiting!! :D

What does the Choice of Address and Agent acceptance email look like? Or there is not as such and just an invoiced AOS is the clue?

It would be your IV bill that would be invoiced as a result of the DS3032 acceptance, not the AOS. The acceptance email will have your case number in the subject line, and it will say something like this:

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: GYQ2013XXXXXX filed by Mrs. XXXXXX on behalf of Mr. XXXXXX.

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

For more information regarding the immigrant visa application fee or for answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the following website:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3904.html

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Is anyone that ever happen to before I check the payment portal today there's only IV option to pay but no AOS and hasn't pay AOS yet . what that means is it a good thing.and receive email from NVC today said not ready for agent choice yet wait for instructions.and I resend it back .FYI my case is for IR5

Hi everyone. Its time for me to send the IV packet to NVC and I could use some advice. I obtained the police certificate for my wife a while back (more than 6months ago). On the police certificate, there is no written expiration date but I'm fairly sure it has expired. Currently, my wife is getting a new police certificate but it might take another few weeks before she has it on hand. My question is should I wait to get the new police certificate or can I just send the packet now with the old version to NVC.
