Did you sent a copy of your NOA2 to NVCResearch@state.gov yet?
I don't know how much it helps (I did it in hopes it will help), but they can then investigate with USCIS on your behalf.

It's not too late, you can send it again.

You should put case# in the subject line, attach a scanned copy of I-797 and Notice of Approval (if you got two papers) and put petitioner's and beneficiary's name and date of birth in the email.

Which browser are you using? I think the general consensus is to use IE. I used chrome on my macbook with no issues but could've just been luck.

Well, it just worked right now, I'm assuming it was a temporary glitch from their side...

Thnaks for your suggestion though!

for you - no ds-3032. When the petitioner calls in and gives over the emails - the AOS and IV fee bills arrive same day, same time. Can pay and be done quickly.

Is the only benefit for utilizing an attorney, having a G-28 with the I-130.

Morning all,

Has anyone tried to log onto the Payment Portal?

When I do, it generates the following message: 'Databe Error - You have encountered the database error. Please try again later.'

Anyone else with the same issue?

please review the FAQ section back at post #2 . Thanks !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If local office adjudication with I-130, is possible the local office not send it on yet. Is possible for petitioner to track down what is what - view my prior posts here in last 8 days concerning what I did, what I learned,

using the advanced search tool.

Good Luck ! (Use a PC, handphone usage sucks for this type of research at VJ)

I'm flying. I would never drive that far. 3-4 days in a car? No thanks. Besides it doesn't save any money when I can get Montreal round trip for $600ish.

I still think it's funny we both met our husband's playing COD. rofl.gif

Megabus is in Canada now - see megabus.ca - I wonder if routing is useful for these jaunts?

To call or not to call.... I can't decide if I should call up NVC again and see if an interview date has been assigned. I called on Monday afternoon and still nothing. Is it worth calling or should I just wait around for the email? Do the interview emails get sent out as soon as an interview is assigned or would you learn sooner if you called, like the case complete?

I would like to know whether I should go and apply for my SSN and GC after my port of entry, since I checked YES for that question on the DS-230.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I vote for 'wait for the email' .

I say call!

Emails are always delayed. For example: I found out my interview date early Friday afternoon, yet only got the email in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, so more than 12 hours later.

Ultimately, it's up to you if you want to find out right away, or just wait for the email which can be a few days delayed.
