I just spoke with his doctor.

The BCHU has records of all of his immunizations since he went to school here.

She says I can just call and get copies of them and then anything that's out of date, we can get done at the same place that you linked me to.

Soooo. Just gotta hope someone calls me back from there ASAP.

Maybe i'll get lucky and there's a spot open on Monday so I don't have to take time off to go do it.

If waiting rooms are anything here like they are in the US, it could be a bit.

I was actually afraid the doctor wouldn't talk to me.

That whole privacy thing.

But she was cool.

Well that's good. I'm glad you guys can get it figured out. For adults they normally make you have an appt unless they have a drop in time. You can find that out when you call BCHU.

Yes, appointment only.

I left a message for them to call me back.

Thanks again for your help.

You're welcome. :D

question:

Do Americans go to the hospital for everything?

Oh hell no. I don't go to the hospital for anything.

mmk.. there just always seems to a hospital on every corner. I'm wondering if all the drs are holed up there or if they actually have "normal" offices. LOL

I got my acceptance letter just now. It listed my Wife's maiden name instead of her married name.

It does say CR1.

Is this an issue? I had a K1 that was denied at the embassy last year so I don't want any confusion.

For the I-130, did you use her married name as her last name on the forms?

It should be fine, if her passport is in her married name, as that's what they'll issue the visa in.

I used her married name in all the forms but did disclosed her maiden name under other names. Her passport is still in her maiden name.

Hmm, if you used her married name on the forms, NVC should have used that.

If you want her visa (and thus green card) in her married name, she's going to need to change that passport asap to her married name.

It clearly states that this is a denial. Have the beneficiary send another DS-3032; it should be accepted the second time.

Is there any downside to having her visa and GC issued in her maiden name?

We just got this passport a few months ago and we spent quite a tidy sum to get it, so not really looking forward to paying for a new one if I don't really have to.

Thanks for all answers.
