Hmm, you may want to call up NVC and request to speak with a supervisor. Explain your situation and ask if you need a PCC. You may want to ciall up NVC throughout this week at a variety of different times (to get different supervisors) and ask them as well to see if you're getting the same answer each time.

When you request an expedite at NVC, it means for them to close your case and immediately send the case to the embassy/consulate, where they'll then issue you an interview. I'm not entirely sure at what point they review the paperwork that hasn't been reviewed by NVC.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten the IIN yet. How often are you calling? And you're asking for the 'Invoice Identification Number', right? You're not saying 'IIN'? Cause they won't know what you're talking about. What are the operators responses when you ask them for it?

And I'm not entirely sure, but if it's considered income, I don't see why not.

thank you I called and ask IIN not invoice # and she give it to me you are a angel.now I can check payment status online and for my daughter disability income some said is gov. Money so I'm not so sure.thanks again

Bit late to the May party, I guess I'll stay on to the June one aswell haha.

HOPEHOPEHOPE we get assigned a July interview in early June.

We send our AOS package last weekend and the NVC will recieve our IV package today (over-nighted yesterday). So another wait begins!

When should I start bothering the nice people at the NVC again? Did most people leave it 2 weeks before calling for news on case complete/interview dates?

Hi everyone, I have been calling the NVC about once or twice a week since I knew my AOS and IV packets were delivered. The IV one was processed pretty quickly, but the AOS took longer for some reason. They send me a checklist, a false one I think, for "Financial Evidence", and later told me on the phone that I was missing evidence of US domicile and that I should wait to get an email about that. I knew I had sent evidence of domicile and I never got that email, so I never sent anything else. Anyway, so yesterday they told me our case is complete! We're happy about that and hope for an interview date soon.

We live in Ireland but my husband is from Mexico. Does anybody know if there is anything unusual about interviews for people living in a third country? Like will they be looking for any documents relating to what we are doing here?

Good luck to everybody!

Welcome to this thread Chloe!

I left it a week then started calling every 2 days.

Our DS230s were approved in 8 business days but our AOS are still under review. I tend to call around mignight (GMT+1) so it leaves a working day for them to get their acts on and review our paperwork, rather than call first thing in the morning for them...

It looks to me like the whole AOS package reviewing is being delayed because of the old/new version malarchy!

Thanks for the reply and welcome!

I'll leave it a week then...if I can resist haha. I hate that someone else knows the process being made and its not me. It's a frustrating time now, you feel most of the waiting is over, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I just wanna run at it haha. I'll probably ring on Monday. They had our AOS this Monday and that's what seems to be taking longer atm from what I've read.

Eeeek, exciting.

It's actually an error on the Online Forms portal. I don't know if that means the same kind of good news as an error on the Payment Portal. Everything's been invoiced, paid, and received, so really we're just waiting on them to review things. The last time I called was Friday morning when they said the papers hadn't even been added to my file yet, so I've been giving them time, but this makes me want to call them NOW! I'm trying to calm myself, though, and wait until the afternoon so that they might be done with something rather than in the middle of it...
