Just called NVC and I just got a case #. Can i send in the choice of agent form and where do i get that from ? Do I need my invoice ID #. Saylin please advice and thanks!

Just called NVC... CASE WAS COMPLETED on Friday!! So happy right now!

we got our NOA2 march 28, 2013, but until now we didnt hear anything from the NVC. my husband email the research division of NVC is

"Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition."

our approval in the USCIS just take like 45 days but in the NVC its almost 2 months now.

Have you contacted USCIS to see if the case has been sent out? Until it's been sent out, contacting NVC is a moot point.

Woot woot! Got a case number today (exactly 2 weeks from NVC receive).

Unfortunately, the first three letters indicate appointment is in my wife's country of citizenship- not the country she lives in. I have submitted an email to NVC already to correct this. I have also sent the DS3032 email.

Anyone know if when they correct our city- will they also give us a new NVC case #? And if so, will that be a problem if they receive our ds3032 email (with old city prefix) after they update to a new city prefix?

If they accept the change in consulate/embassy, then yes, you'll get a new case number.

Not sure about the DS-3032. I don't know if it'll transfer over to the new case number or they'll request you send another.

05-13-2013 - AOS FEE BILL PAID. I use Opera WebBrowser on XP Pro sp3 box, had receipt and cover sheet emailed out.

I signed in with my invoice id # and case # to the dept of state consular electronic application center and i got in. It says AOS fees not paid and IV processing fee not available. Does that mean that once I send my choice of agent form via my spouse's email, I can go ahead and pay the AOS fee or ?

How do u know when u can pay for the AOS fee or IV ? hmmm! Do they normally send u an email or ?

You need to re-review everything in the first two posts. The DS-3032 is part of the IV track and that has NOTHING to do with the AOS track. You pay the bills as soon as they're available. Why would you wait until you're told to pay?

OK - that was weird. A bit of phone calling this evening, with my fav supervisor to get the OPTIN handled . Couldn't get her on the phone this evening, but moments ago (like 30 seconds)

the GZO # was issued. Now I can send off the AOS stuff - sometime tonight after a longish meal...

so - data point maybe? OPTIN accepted, 5/13/2013 circa 22:44 CST.
