As with everything for me in the NVC took 10 days...just called and tears are flowing.

WE GOT OUR CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!

Our case is complete as of today!

What do I do now? Call until NVC sets an interview date? Will they send the paperwork to the consulate now or after the interview date is set? How many days does it take for them to notify me on the interview date? Will they email/send me snail mail with the confirmed date?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm super anxious/excited!

I called NVC tonight.... They received my husband's case on 05/06/2013! Wow! I was expecting to wait a while. My husband is going to finish collecting the PCC & Judiciary record on Monday to send to me. Wow! I'm speechless...

01/28/2013 I-130 package sent

01/31/2013 Notice of Action Date After POE
02/01/2013 Received e-mail and text notification of acceptance 11/26/2013 Applied for SS#
02/04/2013 Received hard copy NOA1 (case not found in on-line system) 12/02/2013 ELIS site still states "accepted"
03/12/2013 Transferred to the local office 12/27/2013 received green card
04/10/2013 Case still not found in on-line system
04/15/2013 INFO-PASS appointment

05/01/2013 NOA2 sent petition approved

Congrats!

You can either sit back and wait or call as often as you wish. The case will only be sent AFTER an interview date has been assigned. Most people typically receive the interview letter email within a few days of it being assigned. If you gave over both email addresses to an operator, then like all the rest of the correspondence, you'll get it by email, otherwise expect it to take a few weeks by snail mail.

we will be sending Aos different location my husband will file AOs and mail it in US Im the one who who will send my documents and I will mail it here in Singapore. Is it ok to send different location thanks

wow - i have a database error now when logging in.

From my copious notes on this - either the GZO # is being generated or I'm getting an IV fee bill next (whenever next is, 10 minutes to 4 days).

all n all, cool.

Just send the corrected DS-230 and additional police certificate today...I hope my Police Certificate will be approved with-out the annotation of time resided in every place I stayed. Bless me oh lord of no more checklist. I hope one is enough. I am tired of waiting for more than 2 years!!! Please interview date come to me now!!rofl.gif Hoping for July interview!!!!1

A friend of mine just informed me that she wants to pay the NVC fees from her account for us.... Does anyone know if the NVC will allow on-line payment from a bank account that isn't mine? Or will she have to get a cashier's check/money order and we will have to mail that in?

As long as it comes from an american bank, I believe it's okay. The payment itself isn't really online but rather you use your checks to provide the appropriate numbers needed.
