Yes, the green card fee applies to EVERYONE. It can only be paid after the passport and package has been received after an approved interview. You can read information about the fee on USCIS here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3a2bb75e8109b310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Is the child immigrating? Will they be receiving a green card after POE? Or are they a US citizen? Or will be a US citizen upon POE?

w00t! changed up this morning,

You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information.

So it's churning, generating that AOS invoice. Yay !

visa(s ) ? plural? more than one?

is one green card fee per visa.

have 2 visas? 2 green card fees.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I was thinking of requesting for expedite processing of our case as our 1st anniversary is very near. Request for Expedite processing showing the 1st anniversary reason would work?. Our I-130 petition was approved after 6 1/2 months which is 1 1/2 month more than the normal USCIS processing time. Will these two reasons hold good enough?. We sent our AOS and packet IV documents to NVC this week and was wondering if we could request for expedite processing now?. Thanks for ur response.

expedite request at NVC is only to forward expedite request to embassy.

embassy reviews request, approves or denies request.

if approved, NVC casefile processing stops, casefile is bundled up and sent on.

IMO/E - your reasons for expedite not matter - they are of no consequence and Embassy IV staff clearly deny. But that's just my opinion, my experience. You could certainly try, you've nothing to lose.

Start by using a telephone, call into NVC, get a supervisor, talk about expedite.

Your reason to expedite:

1. Your 1st anniversary is coming up.

A. Thousand of members is in this situation.

2. Because USCIS approval was taking longer than national goal? 1 1/2 longer.

A. National goal is just an estimate and not an official guidelines they have to meet or required to approved your case.

I wouldn't waste time on it, but like Darnell said....you can try.
