Still have a good idea.

Get them done.

Scan them in.

Reprint.

/set for remainder of process

Just wish I'd thought of it when I did the FIRST set

Just make sure you have a really good printer that prints them out as good of quality as the original set. I'd suggest using the copies for the medical and keep the originals for the interview (as they use those photos for your green card).

Oh, no no, I'ma print multiples at walmart.

(1) 4x6 is like 30c so I can just paste 3 per photo and trim them at home.

Geniiiuuuus.

*Disclaimer* I would not suggest anyone w/o some photoshop pasting skills choose my method

Saylin - another data point.

Called in, received GUZ casefile # and IIN.

I was so ecstatic that Tessa was asking me for her name and DOB, my name and DOB - I'm still trembling... OMG.

I asked if I could add my wife's email address to the casefile, but Tessa mentioned to call back on Monday and do it then, as 'we can only do one edit per day'.

hmmmmm. of course I'm gonna call back tonight and try...

Yay !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

My scanned pictures look fine.

Aside from the fact that clearly I need to clean my scanner.

Got some fuzzies on the glass.

Yup, that's the acceptance!

Foreign State of Chargeability is just basically where they're born. Doesn't affect anything.

;)

Right on Saylin! I called them a few hours ago and they confirmed me exactly what you said.

Next step is to await the IV package invoicing and send all the supporting evidence, which hopefully will be done by midweek next week.

The NVC guy told me it will take up to 15 business days for the invoicing and 20 business days for the reviewing...'

My husband is sending our AOS package today :)

Today a received a REAL checklist cray5ol.gif But what they are asking is including in the documents that I send with AOS.

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
A review of the I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form and
supporting documents that you submitted has revealed that you have provided incomplete information in
your response or you have not responded to some questions.
Please pay specific attention to the questions marked in the attached I-864/A checklist. You will need to
complete and submit a new form with the changes noted on the attached checklist.
You will need to follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support (I-864) that are posted on the
Department of State website at the following address:
www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov. From there, you can fill out a new form online, print the new
completed form and mail it to NVC. If you are the Petitioner, please read all instructions and complete
the correct form to submit to NVC. An Affidavit of Support form is required to be submitted from the
Petitioner on each case regardless of his/her income level.
NVC will hold this case until you send us these needed items. When you return the documents to NVC,
please make sure that the documents submitted are in the correct order and stapled together, as stated in
the I-864 Important Notice instructions.
For electronic processing, all forms and documents that we request and require from you should be scanned and e-mailed to
NVC as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The documents should be sent as attachments with your e-mail
response and not in a web file. NVC is unable to process documents submitted in web files. Forms and documents should not
be mailed through the postal service. The applicant must present all original forms and documents to the Consular officer at
the visa interview. Failure to present the required originals at the visa interview will result in a denial or delay in obtaining a
visa for the sponsored applicant. Any questions regarding your petition should continue to be directed to
NVCElectronic@state.gov.
PLEASE NOTE: No interview will be scheduled until ALL of the information requested has been emailed to the National
Visa Center.
Checklist for I-864 (filed by MY NAME )
The NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is
required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and
refer to page two for mailing instructions.
General Instructions
[x] The checklist below indicates missing or incomplete documents.
Supporting Documents Missing or Incomplete
[x] A written statement/explanation as to why tax returns were not filed is required if you are/have been
unemployed, retired or dependent.
[x] The submitted income tax documents/IRS statements for the years marked below are missing/incomplete (if
you have lost any of the requested tax information, contact your local IRS office to obtain a copy) (Only
Federal returns (not state or local) are acceptable unless the sponsor's income was earned in Puerto Rico.)
• Schedules are missing for the year(s): [x] 2012 [ ] 2010 [ ] 2009 [ ] 2008.
• Federal income tax returns, literal printouts from the IRS (RTFTP) or a Letter 1722 issued by IRS
are missing/incomplete for the year(s): [x] 2012 [ ] 2010 [ ] 2009 [ ] 2008.
• W-2 forms are missing/incomplete for the year(s): [x] 2012 [ ] 2010 [ ] 2009 [ ] 2008.
[x] You have not enclosed an explanation of why you were not required to file income taxes under Federal tax
laws for any/all of the 3 most recent tax years. (Residence outside of the U.S. or retirement does not exempt a
U.S. Citizen or LPR from filing a Federal tax return. Individuals who were required to file a Federal tax return but
failed to do so are advised to file late returns.)
What can I do now???? I sent the letter explaining why I don´t have income tax returns. They are not asking anything from my co-sponsor. Do I have to send a new I-864????
