10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

The food at Hooters isn't all that great. Kinda bland. But who goes for the food, honestly.

I was wondering the same thing Joel! But figured that I'd just keep it to myself ya'll just seemed to be having to much fun with it. :dance:

Did you get the DS230 and checklist sent back? I saw the public health nurse yesterday and got my updated immunization record and had my tetnus updated so I'm all set there. All I have to do now is wait for the interview date and my medical appointment. I'm hoping Caleb's passport will show up this week so I can go and try and get an earlier date for the medical. I called passport Canada yesterday and they said it should be here by the 13th of March I sure hope they are right.

How's it going with you did you get a friend to drive to Halifax with you? Good luck tomorrow with it. post everything when you get back and let me know the fees you were charged and how worried I need to be. LOL

Well the place is easy to find. Doesn't seem like a doctor's office though. Dr Doane is very laid back. Very friendly. He suggested I quit smoking lol. Waiting at the QEII is quite long for the x-ray, not very long for the bloodwork. The phlebotomist was real cute but she bruised me. I've never been bruised while taking blood. Oh well. My only suggestion for anyone having to do this is make sure you have the whole day available.

Oh and one more thing... Dr Doane is clearly a cape bretoner! lol

Congrats on getting your packet 3, but you should have gotten your medical and police certificate as soon as you got your NOA2!!! Now you need to get the checklist turned in to get your interview as soon as possible!

K-1 Timeline

11-29-05: Mailed I-129F Petition to CSC

12-06-05: NOA1

03-02-06: NOA2

03-23-06: Interview Date May 16

05-17-06: K-1 Visa Issued

05-20-06: Arrived at POE, Honolulu

07-17-06: Married
