Freda, I'm sure you told me at one time but I have Fried Teacher Brain Syndrome right now....where are you coming to here in the US? Would be nice if all of us could get together at some point :)

Hey Karen,

I'm coming to Montgomery Alabama. And getting together would be great. Me and Peggy are about an hour away from each other. I have already suggested it to her too. But getting together sounds great. Once all this is over and we are all in the USA that will definitely a reason to celebrate.

September 7th 2006: EAD touched (day 12)

September 15th 2005: email stating AOS transferred to CSC (day 20)

September 16th 2006: Biometrics (day 21)

September 18th 2006: EAD and AOS Touched (day 23)

September 21st 2006: Snail mail transfer notice (day26)

October 18th 2006: Still waiting (day 53)

November 2nd 2006: Still waiting (day 68)

Hey Karen and Joel,

Just curious about how and when Joel plans on coming to the USA after the visa approval? Just wondering if he's like me and impatient I plan on coming back to Nova Scotia from Montreal to load up the car and drive to Alabama as soon as possible. My parents are coming with my son and I to visit and help make the wedding plans and staying with us until after the wedding. That has to be the best part of being from Canada we don't need to go through an tourist visa stuff to come to visit. And since they are both retired they can stay up to and after the 90 day requirement for the wedding. I think they are as anxious and excited as I am, watching the mail everyday. It is usually a race between my mom and I to the mail each day. And Mark's family are looking forward to meeting them and getting to know them also.

It's ok I emailed the embassy in Montreal and got a reply.

1 original for the main applicant and a copy for the child.

Sorry I didnt see that earlier Freda.

We had one I-134 for me, and one copied for my son Jonathan for the K1/K2 interview in Montreal.

For sure we will all have to get together. Its pretty neat that the three of us are from Nova Scotia and will all be living in the South. :yes:

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I got my visa on May 2nd.

I was on a plane May 24........... :yes:

So it was three weeks for me till I came here.
