Ill try to condense this. I married in 2006 to a Ghanaian. Petitioned (k3) for him and he came to USA. He divorced me in 2010. Wow right? Anyway..I met a very nice guy while vacationing in Nigeria with my friends...We got married on second visit. he is 13 years younger. Just need some advice when it comes to Nigerian consulate. We have a lot of phone records and chat logs. Some Skype. I would like to know if anyone has filed twice before and what problems they might have faced.

03/09/2013: Married

09/10/2013: Sent I-130

09/12/2013: Case Received.

03/04/2014: Petition transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

03/25/2014: I-130 Petition approved

03/28/2014: Petition sent to NVC

Nigeria is perhaps the most difficult consulate in the world through which to apply.

Your application would need to be bulletproof.

That is actually a good idea- between the previous K3 and him being significantly younger, as well as going through a high fraud consulate, you will have big issues. If you can live with your husband for a few months- a year, a lot of the red flags won;t matter.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

That is actually a good idea- between the previous K3 and him being significantly younger, as well as going through a high fraud consulate, you will have big issues. If you can live with your husband for a few months- a year, a lot of the red flags won;t matter.

I wish I could taketime like that off but i would lose my job. I'm speaking of if and when we are denied. I would have to move there. That's a huge sacrifice for me but I made sure in my heart that I was willing to make that sacrifice before I walked down the aisle with him.

Be there for the interview, even if you aren't allowed inside. Spend as much time as you can with him in the meantime. Interact/mingle/photos with family.

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.
