Just wanted to share that although I got my appt. for biometrics for May 20th, I succesfully got them done today at the Alexandria, VA office. It took us about 25 minutes! No fuzz at all, everyone was very helpful. Yay!

2010 - We met at work while I was doing my OPT

Jan 2011 - We started dating!

March 2011 - I went back to Mexico becuse my OPT had ended

Apr 2011 - He comes to Mexico to visit me & meets my parents

May 2011 - I come back to the US with a TN-1 visa

March 10, 2012 - We got married!!! Civil ceremony with a few friends and family

August 12, 2012 - We have our big wedding celebration. Family comes from all over!

April 10, 2013 - We submit our papers! I-130, I-485, I-765

April 22, 2013 - We receive text and email NOA1

April 25, 2013 - We receive NOA1 for all 3 cases on the mail

April 27, 2013 - Received biometrics appt. letter for May 20, 2012

April 29, 2013 - We walk-in to get my briometrics. Got them done 22 days early!

May 24, 2013 - We receive letter with Interview Date for June 24th.

June 12, 2013 - Status on USCIS website for I-765 changes to Card Production

June 20, 2013 - I got my Work Authorization card!

June 25, 2013 - Interview at USCIS Fairfax, VA. Approved!

June 27, 2013 - USCIS website says my GC is in Production. yay!

July 1st, 2013 - Got my Green Card in the mail!

wow! i dint know that was possible.. congraats!! mine is next week...

Guys where is your application being processed?

the USCIS site says mine is at the national benifits centre..but again the nbc does not process I 485..ne idea?

Alexandria office is awesome, I did an early Bio. when I was doing my AOS

AOS

day 1 -- 04/11/2012-- package sent to Chicago

day 2 -- 04/12/2012-- package was received.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

ROC

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received

your file will be at NBC for the initial process, they process your work permit and AP, then they will send you an interview letter, when they find you an available time , and they send your file to the local office for the interview.

lol I was checking your timeline it's very similar to mine, I sent mine like April 11 last year, and it went very quick in Fairfax, I wish you the same, take a look at my signature .

how long did it take u to get a letter for ur bio metrics from the first day u submitted your form

I sent all my papers April 10, they got them April 12. I received the Biometrics letter April 27.

lol I was checking your timeline it's very similar to mine, I sent mine like April 11 last year, and it went very quick in Fairfax, I wish you the same, take a look at my signature .

Oh wow. It would be amazing if I could get my GC in less than 90 days. Happy you had such good luck!

Congratulations! I'm unsure if doing a walk-in actually speeds up the process or not... however, I'm only on Day 20, and my I-765 was touched today and is in "Decision"... so that's a good thing, I think?!

AOS JOURNEY FROM VISA WAIVER PROGRAM
• EAD (I-765) APPROVED IN 30 DAYS
• I-485 APPROVED IN 96 DAYS
• I-130 APPROVED IN 96 DAYS

Day 2 - April 11th, 2013 - Delivery confirmation, Chicago

Day 9 - April 19th, 2013 - Text NOAs for all three - NBC

Day 12 - April 22nd, 2013 - NOAs in mail for all three - NBC

Day 15 - April 25th, 2013 - Biometric walk-in at Fort Worth

Day 28 - May 8th, 2013 - RFE received (I-485) - immediately responded by fax

Day 30 - May 10th, 2013 - EAD approved, card sent to production

Day 35 - May 15th, 2013 - RFE processed for I-485

Day 38 - May 18th, 2013 - EAD card arrives in mail!

Day 41 - May 21st, 2013 - I-485 updated to "Testing and Interview"

Day 51 - May 31st, 2013 - Interview scheduled for July 16th, Dallas

Day 62 - June 11th, 2013 - Started work as a Systems Engineer (IT)!

Day 96 - July 16th, 2013 - Approved at interview in Dallas, Texas! (I-485)

Day 96 - July 16th, 2013 - I-485 updated to "Card/Document production", I-485 updated to "Approved, mailed welcome letter", I-130 updated to "Approved"
