You'll find a lot of helpful info here:

Make sure you are aware of the holiday schedule next week - they are closed Thursday and possibly Friday even though the website says they are open.

Good luck

Thank you kit kat i been searching like crazy about all this, i been in immigrate2us but they never sent my register activation. well anyways my fiancee tried to get a tourist visa back in april it was denied, then i became american citizen and applied for the k1. i was approve real fast well at least i think so , it was transfer from nebraska to california, they requested more evidence and they approved after that, i hope everything goes ok , like i said she has never been in the usa before.

As long as you are prepared with all of the necessary information and she pays the fee in advance and has the medical exam, should be totally fine. It's a long day of waiting at the consulate but for the most part, very easy. Hope all goes well - keep us posted on the other thread!

Sounds like a good plan.

CDJ doesn't require the I-134 but many people use it - it's fine to use that. Make sure you read through their "public charge" information from the packet (and on their website).

Let's move any other questions to the other thread to keep everything in one place, ok?
