ok so news but no good news well no bad news either, an interview date! why I don't really know, I am in colorado visiting my brother (and boarding ) wife told me today that there's an interview paper.

what they want us to bring is pretty much everything we sent already. well this is weird, i guess it's true if the temp card was easy, perm card application is usually hard (stuff i read on the net)

anywho updating the thread with my lone interview date

And that's why the online system shouldn't be relied on 100%.

But yeah, you kinda have to show up with everything, even if it's just for the same things already submitted. Sounds like it's probably just one of those random interviews they assign. Lucky you

We went there this morning, greeted by a nice IO. He was nice from the beginning to the end (which was 5-10 min lol).

I didn't really understand why we called in the first place but no real question really asked just casual conversation about nyc, life and only one specific question how is the marriage is going and if we go out often to eat etc.? Verbal approval on the spot. He did mention I may or may not receive email/text stuff, but it could take up to 30 days. Was this random? guess so.

Definitely a random interview and not based on red flags Congrats on the approval! Even though it took awhile, just be glad it was approved with no real issues

And I found unupdated post! While you are waiting for exact approval date, ljj's approval never updated!

I got my letter today saying that my card has been ordered! So excited I don't have to worry about this anymore

We had our I 751 interview in Boston today. Long list of questions, they first interviewed me for 30 minutes and then my wife next to me for about 45 minutes. They were also 45 minutes late to admit us. Good thing we were not to early. I am sure we passed. They took my wifes green card. I hope to get approval soon. We have already been married 4 years.
