My case status on the USCIS website got updated with the transfer notice on 9/17. It says that same thing-

On September 17, 2013, we transferred your CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

However, i didn't receive an email or text even though i submitted the form to be notified electronically.

You have to realize, the USCIS case status system isn't 100% reliable. Don't worry about it at all.

Guys, irrespective of the case status update and 800-375-5283, all cases are getting transferred to CSC only. CSC is faster, so be happy.

I just got my NOA2 and it states CSC (800-375-5283 mentioned St. Albans, Vermont & case status mentioned local office)

They should. But, you know USCIS by now; nothing is 100% reliable with them (sadly).

very sad ... I checked my case status online today and it said that on the 18th they transferred my case to the local office ...

How long did it take for the people that had their case transferred to get an approval?!? ... (date of transfer , date of approval)

I think everyone who was transferred in May was just this past week, so no approvals yet.

well lets all pray that all of us got transfer for a good reason and we ll get approved soon!!( ps Saylin i love your hair ,mine is hot red,but i like yours more!!!)

As long as the local offices aren't too busy, I'm sure all transferees will hear something within the next few weeks, possibly by the end of the month.

And thanks! Got it done about 3 weeks ago. Absolutely love it And I've gotten lots of compliments... as well as stares And cute little kids pointing at me and whispering (quite loudly) to their parents that "that girl has blue hair!". Said parents then hush up their kids as quietly as possible

so cute a kid called me little Mermaid ,i was awwwww,so cute i love color and i think is great we have the courage to step out of the box i was pink and purple for my wedding ,and next week i ll try hot pink and black !!you look great!!!

Yeah, my hair definitely makes me feel like a mermaid, blues and greens. And yes, color is awesome. I previously had pink/blue highlights, all pink hair about 2 years ago, different highlight colors before that. Ohhh, pink and purple, bet that looked awesome!! And ahhh pink and black, bet that'll look great!

No offense Saylin but you would get stares from me....I'm only in my 20s but kind of conservative on things like hairstyle like yours...I believe anyone over 18 should at least pretend to be an adult. We have plenty of stupid kids lurking around...LOL But I am not trying to insult you...this is just my short minded opinion. Enjoy your hair!

I'm used to the stares. I live in South Dakota where it's not exactly common for people to dye their hair these kinds of colors. But, most people seem to think it's cool, so

And not sure what hair color has to do with being an adult. Do you feel the same about piercings and tattoos? All a form of expression in my opinion, and not all related to being "childish". I've been getting my hair dyed "exotic" colors for about 5 years now, since I was about 19, and just fell in love with all the different colors. But hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinions!

Hey there! Glad to you didn't think I am here to insult you. That was never my intention, I just simply shared my opinion on this. And to answer your question, yes, I do feel the same way about tattoos and piercings too. Even on certain ways of dressing for a lady or a man...I guess I was raised by quiet strict parents and although they died before I turned 16, but I guess they had a strong influence on me. Or maybe just the fact that I had to "grow up" a lot sooner than most kids/people since I did not have my parents around...hence I believe these kind of things are kind of immature. Anyway, this is just my opinion and the main reason to life is that you enjoy it by whatever ways. So, enjoy it!

after reading about the transfers I've been checking, as we are late may filers, BUT no letter, no update, no email, no nothing so far......we must be stuck in the "C" file @ VSC!!!

One July filer (direct at CSC) got the first July approval - it is a good sign of things moving at CSC. Cheer up, we transferees to CSC will get a little later but better than at VSC.
