Just got another notice my case now transfer to local office

So now the pending cases of May are also getting transferred to the so called local office. Wait till you get the letter, as it turned out at least in one case to be CSC. I have the same online status but telephonic status indicate that local office to be in St. Albans, Vermont - waiting for the new NOA.

Just received the approval notice! The approval date was 09/10. Whew!

3 things I noticed...

1. It is a very official looking letter (I-797 NOA format)...I know some folks got letters that didn't look very official...just curious to see why they have different formats...obviously it doesn't matter as long as we get the card :-)

2. It was mailed from a local USCIS office in San Francisco. I thought the letters will me mailed from CSC

3. Online status still says "Initial Review"...Oh well

No approval just transfer notice

My case status on the USCIS website got updated with the transfer notice on 9/17. It says that same thing-

However, i didn't receive an email or text even though i submitted the form to be notified electronically.
