Approval letter from Sept 3 along with the card was in my mail box last night! Mailed the packet out May 15, biometrics June 26. That's crazy fast!

Woohoo, my case status finally updated! Just got a text and email about a minute ago. Been waiting for this:

"On September 11, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I received 2 emails and 14, yes 14!!!!! text messages informing me of my case status update. The last text just an hour ago, ya know, in case I missed the previous 15 notifications. They blasted me with them all at once to make up for the missing notifications along the way.

Looks like USCIS really wanted to tell me too. I got another email and 2 more texts last night at 1am all with the same status update as yesterday (Was hoping it might have actually updated to give the tracking number). Anyways, glad I wear ear plugs every night and didn't hear the text messages come in, so no sleep was disturbed, phew.

A change in case status less than an hour ago:

"On September 13, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I've heard USCIS mails it with 2-day shipping, so I should receive it early next week

Still waiting on our card. It was mailed out on Tuesday with the 2 day shipping but the last update on USPS is that it went through their Sort Facility in Knoxville, TN on 9/10. No card yet or new updates. I'm hoping it'll show up sometime next week and didn't get lost some place. Scheduled delivery date is still showing as 9/12.

Ours has finally showed up at the main sort facility in Des Moines. So hopefully that means it'll be headed our way. Tomorrow would be great, but I'm thinking it'll probably more like Monday before it gets delivered. At least it's in the same state now.
