What!!! What! ! What!!! Woooow!!! It's my approval letter in the mail. Funny enough my online status is still on initial review. My approval date is 08/31/13. I'm so happy. Look like it was approved at my local centre Atlanta ga. The paper look very official

I never got a letter in the mail, just a lot of texts and emails stating I was approved. My online status changed immediately.

Vermont was where I was approved. Just some info to add to the rest.

I have not received the 10 yr green ,card yet, I put in a change of address. but the card went to my other address, so a neighbor is picking it up for me. We live in Florida in the winter and Montana in the summer.

Also, I went to Canada to see my family after the approval and got pulled in by the customs officer and had to do some explaining as to why they saw a new green card issued but I was still using the old card and the extension letter. So new biometrics and some checking on their system and after 15 minutes I was good to go again.

It was the opposite for me: letter in the mail, absolutely no texts or emails or changes online. But, I guess in the end, all that matters is you get the card ;)

And glad you didn't have too many issues at the border!

Hey all! Luc was approved on 9/5 for roc letter received on 9/9. I was really nervous bc I was doing grad school apps and threw our packet together in a day. we didn't have a lot of shared documents but a lease, credit card, taxes, and a bank account (which we only sent 3 statements of). I guess the fact that the all "my" bills were from a joint account proved we shared finances. Anyway I don't care! We're approved and can relax now! Thanks like always VJ users you all are amazing!!!!

Received a text/email today saying the card was shipping out today, then just received another with the tracking number! Looks like we should have it by Friday. They even put $100 insurance on it. Haha! I'd say it's worth a lot more than $100.

I just received this message by email and text.

"On September 10, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

When I checked online, my case was updated but no "circle" was colored in. I can't tell if it's under Post Decision Activity (which I think it falls under) or not.

Oh well, don't care. My card should be here soon! :)

Received a text/email today saying the card was shipping out today, then just received another with the tracking number! Looks like we should have it by Friday. They even put $100 insurance on it. Haha! I'd say it's worth a lot more than $100.

Grats you two. I'm hoping for the same message soon (although I'm thinking I won't get any updates and it'll just show up in the mail one day, lol).

Approval letter from Sept 3 along with the card was in my mail box last night! Mailed the packet out May 15, biometrics June 26. That's crazy fast!

08/2008- met in Baltimore. I was on J1. Started dating.
07/2009- I went back to England to finish my BA(Hons)
12/2009- he visits me in England and proposes on new years eve
04/2010- I visit him in Baltimore on B1/B2. We spontaneously get married. I leave to go back to England.
10/2010- he comes to meet my family in Russia. We have our "honey-week"
11/2010- I come to visit on B1/B2 again and he convinses me to stay
03/11/2011- sent out AOS
03/14/2011- package received
04/2011- RFE
05/2011- sent out response for RFE
07/08/2011- EAD card recieved
7/21/2011- Green Card interview success!

05/15/2013- ROC packet sent

06/26/2013- Biometrics

09/03/2013- Approved

09/10/2013- Card recived
