Thanks! That's what I was thinking, cause even checking right now it still shows Initial Review.

The online case status thingy isn't always accurate or up to date, keep that in mind ;) Regardless though, you got approved, and that's what counts!

Received approval letter yesterday in the mail dated 8/27. So happy :D Good luck to all those who are waiting. Hoping for more approvals!

02/14/2011 Valentine's Day wedding

03/08/2011 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox (PO Box address) thru USPS Priority Mail

03/09/2011 Found out this Visa Journey Community

03/10/2011 Package received at 6:48am

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

04/27/2011 E-notifications received(text and email) EAD Card production in order; Online status for I-765 updated 4/27/11

05/05/2011 Received EAD card

05/06/2011 Applied for SSN

05/16/2011 Received Interview notice scheduled for 06/16/2011 (via e-notifications and USPS mail)

06/16/2011 Interview at San Jose,CA office, went well but no assurance from the IO

06/17/2011 Received e-notifications- I-485 approval and card production ordered :D

06/23/2011 Received Welcome letter, and approval of I-130

06/27/2011 Received GREEN CARD in the mail, it is indeed green!

Since your NOA is in June, you should join the June thread, not the May thread wink.png

Where exactly i should base the NOA Date? with the Receipt Notice Date (stated in form I-797)? or when i really received the letter by mail (which is 6/3/13)?

coz in Form I-797 the receipt date is 5/31/2013.

anyway, there's also one included in your list that has NOA date on 6/3/13.

The NOA is the receipt notice date so you're a May filer. The date you received this notice is irrelevant. Just like the date for your green card approval will be the date they approved it and not the date you receive the card, which I hear could take as long as 60 days! :)

It's the Notice Date, not the date you received the letter, as Cheezees said.

Didn't realise there was someone with a June date. They technically shouldn't be in the list.

And I take great offense to your last sentence. I didn't ignore you. I actually replied to your post. And I wasn't mean in any way in replying to you. I was merely informing you that you should be in June based on your date. But since your notice date is in May, you're actually a May filer, thus I'll be updating the list.

My online status is still on initial review. Can one get approval notice while his status is still on initial review. I'm just curious

Entered usa with B2 VISA: 05.23.2010
met my wife: 06.02.2010
Got married : 10.28.2010
sent AOS: 03.11.2011
receieved by USCIS: 03.15.2011
NOA received : 03.26.2011
Case touched : 03.14.2011
Online update: inital review, the notice of action we sent to u was returend as undeliverable by us post authority. call uscis for rectification as this will affect the processing of your case.
called uscis: asking them to resend the notice of action and that i never change address.
Biomeric letter received: 05.02.2011 { for 05.17.2011}
walk in biomeric: 05.04.2011
another biometric letter received: 05.11.2011
went back for biometric centre: 05.12.2011 { was told that my last biometrics was good}
email and text massage recived: 05.14.2010{we have approved your EAC}
EAC received in the mail: 05.14.2011
applied for SSN. : 05.16.2011
Received SSN in mail: 05.21.2011
Tesxt massage: your case have been updated, status change to testing and interview. 07.26.2011

My husband received his approval letter and his online status still says Initial Review. The letter we received was very different from the normal looking letters they send out, just typed letters on a blank white sheet of paper, doesn't even show the receipt number on the paper. Looks like ours was sent to the Nebraska Service Center and was approved from there. So I have doubts that our status will ever change from Initial Review.

Yup, definitely possible. The online case status isn't 100% reliable.

4/21/11 RFE acknowledged

5/14/11 NOtice of EAD production

6/23/11 Received interview notice for 7/28/2011 at Federal Plaza

7/28/11 Interview approved. Dude stamped my applications on file.

7/29/11 online update CARD PRODUCTION.

8/03/11 online update CARD PRODUCTION (2nd Time)

8/04/11 online update. APPROVAL LETTER MAILED.

8/05/11 Received Approval Letter in the mail.

8/06/11 Received GC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ubamama, I sent my I-751 on 06/14/2013, I got my Approval Notice dated 08/28/2013 on my mail box and my case status on uscis.gov still showing Initial Review.
