saylin, well at least you can be sure that they are looking at your case, so wait an approval shortly after sending your RFE

True. It just sucks that this is the THIRD time I'll have to get my fingerprints done now. And the fact that my fingerprints are out of my control, unlike other RFEs due to not including something. Oh well.

The only difference between this and other RFEs is that this is part of the background check, and not just a simple review by an officer. So, I'm hoping you're right in that it won't take long after I send the letter in. Looking at a friend who had a similar problem (she had to get a letter from her local PD too), she was only approved 2 months later :/

So, I first went to the police department about an hour ago. They directed me to the Clerk of Courts at the County Courthouse (thankfully only a few blocks away). Had to fill out a form (hoping I checked off the right kind of search). For whatever reason, they told me I could waive the fee (yay for saving $20), lol. Should receive it by email within 24-48 hours. *keeps fingers crossed it's on the shorter end of that time frame*

So based on this Trend Chart and Volume Chart, the receipt is less than the Other Pending. I would think The receipt = Completions + Other Pending. However, it's great to see that there are 20k and 19k completions for May and June!

Ah I figured it out, All Other Pending: Pending cases that haven't been touched. Awaiting customer action: Waiting to reply on RFE (I guess). Completions: Approvals. Receipts: Cases that applicant received green card.

If my interpretation is correct then June 2013 has the least open cases.
