I just read your GC info and my husband and I had a good laugh at how they sent you a form to fill out to request a new one INSTEAD of just issuing you a correctly dated one. The issuance of a techincally "expired" card was hilarious too! :P:)

NOA 1 recive on Sat waitting for appoitment letter.

Question the NOA 1 say that CR is extended for a year and please wait for appoitment day before looking case online.

As you can immagine i look and cant find my case . Can somebody tell me if there NOA 1 say the same ?

Didn't think it will be that quick but yea!!

Waiting on my biometrics!

yea I think when they receive your package they just scan the 751 document and enter it in the system that generates the noa1, but surely after they put it bottom of the pile, hence whole think takes 7-8 months

I had the same confusion.

Hi rdbdds,

I just read your GC info and my husband and I had a good laugh at how they sent you a form to fill out to request a new one INSTEAD of just issuing you a correctly dated one. The issuance of a techincally "expired" card was hilarious too! tongue.pngsmile.png

Hah.. that was stressful.

First they wanted us to pay $500 to issue a new one since they claimed it was sent out and never returned by USPS.

Then I read somewhere that all GCs now have a tracking number assigned to help prevent theft. I called until I found a competent agent who noticed no tracking #, hence no GC sent out, saved me $500.

Only to get an expired GC..

and this, my friends, is how the gov't stays in business
