Hello Guys,

Thanks for all the support we have received from everyone on this forum till date.

I have another question, I did look through the forum and the internet but didn't find a answer to my doubt.

I live in Italy as a student but I am an Indian holding an Indian passport. We are getting married in India but I plan to appear for the CR1 interview at the US consulate in Naples, Italy. But I read from the uscis website that "NVC will then send the I-129F petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where the marriage took place."

Is it the same for the CR1 process also. Will they send the I-130 petition to India or can we request them to send it to Italy.

Your address on the I-129F petition is were they will asign your interview, if you live in Naple, Italy, then that is were your interview will be! Also the same for the CR1 process...

PS:

You can change the interview location if you move!

04/25/2012: Case sent to U.S. Consulate General in HONG KONG

Medical / US Consulate / POE:

04/30/2012: U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong received

05/16/2012: Interview Scheduled May 22, 2012

05/22/2012: Interview APPROVED!!!!!!

05/26/2012: Visa in Hand (9 months 11 days from NOA1)
