hey everyone,
i have few questions regarding AOS. i am a US citizen (wife) of beneficiary (my husb). we filed I-130 and got approval notice last week.
i dont work and i dont have an income.

I want to know if my uncle can file Affidavit of Support for my husband. He is an American Citizen, he has bank account in USA, he got property in USA and he pays taxes but he is temporary living in Saudia Arabia due to his job since last seven years. Please advise if he can file Affidavit of Support ? And can you share the format of the form with me? which form he would need to file? do i need to send my tax infos as well with seperate AOS? or only his affidavit of support is enough?

No. He needs to be domiciled in the US, and from what you have written he is domiciled in Saudi Arabia at the current time.

i mean he is going to be a joint sponsor or co-sponsor. he still needs to be in USA? even though he pays taxes/files tax return and has a house in USA and bank accounts.

If he considers the US his principal place of residence and that he is only temporarily abroad, then maybe (but seven years is a long time to be gone "temporarily").

Can my mom and dad together be a joint sponsor? .. They r in usa and are us citizen. They make together 80000 annual income. And they always file joint tax return.

when i was going through my visa process i looked up all the rules for a joint sponsor and im 99% sure that if they have a house in the us and are a US citizen than even if they are outside the country for long periods of time they can still be a sponsor. Btw even if your family dosent make enough money you can file along side your sponsor and together you should have more than enough, providing you are over a 125% of the poverty leve for a household of your size, remember that they are looking for the amount b4 taxes not after.
