Hi,

I noticed my message has changed this morning at CSC. It used to say when it arrived and had not changed through subsequent touches.

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

Anyone else seen this?...I hope it does nt mean they found a dusty box to put it in!

AP Approved:2006-10-30
EAD Approved!:2006-11-02

My I-360 Petition says the exact same thing. I hope that means that a decision is near... Hahah, I hope they didn't put it in a dusty box, Keigwyn! It's been about three weeks since the processing dates have changed. Maybe we will have a better idea about what is going on when they change.

I was just about to post that I noticed the same message and wondered what it was about. Slightly annoys me that it says "we will process them in the order we get them" because my case was transferred a month and a half ago and only just NOW either got there or got acknowledged as getting there, so I should have been processed ages ago if they'd sent it right! :P

We got the same message this weekend, and at first I was all excited that there was a new message, then was bummed because it is basically letting me know that there is nothing new to tell but we are 'now pending'.

Nice of them to keep me informed, I know, but they have to know that any new message makes us think the GC is on the way.

Thanks for the replies, but do you think it means we are past the possibility of RFEs and are awaiting the FBI results????

I have my fingers crossed on that one!

I'd venture to say no, we aren't free from RFE chances. It does say you'll be notified if the office needs something from you.

People need to stop getting excited about this. This is what has happened:

The USCIS are overhauling their website, as part of this they have changed the standard wording on some of the case status online web pages and added some new wording. Just because your wording changed doesn't mean anything happened to your case, everyone's wording has changed.

The Missouri Service Center is a red herring. It appears to be put in because your case number has MSC in it, i.e. the Missouri Service Center. Just because it didn't say Missouri Service Center in the text before and it does now does not mean you have been transferred there.

We've been told we are awaiting the FBI namecheck, but they didn't mention RFEs at all, so we don't know. Either way, nobody has breathed on our application since October 18th (when we got a 'touch') so it's anybody's guess. But if I get an RFE after months of nobody actually looking at our stuff while they await the namecheck, I might just scream.

I know, I know.... hubby said the same thing. Doesn't stop me hoping though...

This has nothing to do with this, it doesnt even show the AOS processing time.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SITE, PLEASE READ THE GUIDES BEFORE ASKING ALOT OF QUESTIONS. THE GUIDES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND WILL SAVE YOU ALOT OF TIME!

Processing times for AOS are on the page for your local office, i.e. where you have your interview. The mention of the MSC on the AOS case status page is confusing at best, at worst, wrong.
