Hello Folks,

This is my first post here and I would like to wish each and everyone best of luck for their visa journeys (L) I got married to my USC wife in Aug 25, 06 (L) and I have received a NOA - Request to Appear for an Initial Interview at Kansas City District Office along with all the supporting documents. The interview is scheduled for Jan 9. Can anyone tell me what does an initial interview mean? Is it the interview for my Conditional Green Card Approval?

Thanks,

Akashdeep

Yes initial interview means first interview, if the interviewing officer approves you you get conditional green card, then 90 days from expiration of the conditional card you file to remove conditions, and you will have one more interview to remove the conditional status.

Good luck.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
