I slept 9 hours last night which rarely happens. Usually I get 5 or maybe every once in a while I'll get 6, but I know I really needed the extra sleep last night.

I woke up to a wonderful world in white as it's really heavily foggy outside. It's pretty though.

:)

Anyone else here play Monopoly? I always hated the game as people get so intense about it. I bought my son a Star Wars version for his birthday and we were playing last night and I remembered why I haven't played in years. :D

me too... I slept almost 10hrs last nite!!! I was so tired and have been working so much. I don't play monopoly, but I do play backgammon like a fiend! I can't wait to teach Said so we can play together. I was supposed to go to New Orleans today w/ a friend, but I bailed... I just wanted to be at home and do some cooking and have quality time w/ the pooches - and I had a raging headache. I'm cooking some soup and my dad is bringing over my new tv soon! He got a 50" plasma tv, so I'm getting his 42" plasma that is 2 weeks old. I also ordered direct tv today so I can soon get the arabic pkg in addition to 4 million other stations! Oh gawd, I may never leave home again....:help::whistle:

Charles suggested that the headache could be related to my accident. I don't think so, just bcause I didn't hit my head at all. Hopefully it was just an isolated episode that is behind me. But don't worry, if it recurrs, I will be sure to get it checked out.

i was thinking not just about the possibility of you hitting your head, but the jerking motion of your head on impact. that can rupture blood vessels. just concerned about you, i know it's unusual :P(F)

Charles, you're like the older brother I never had the opportunity to fight with. :P

Must be the day for soup making! I just got back from the grocery store and am making a southwestern turkey soup. Bought the turkey already cooked at Boston Market. lol. The house smells so good between that and my yankee candle pumpkin spice candle. I have about three loads of laundry piled on my bed waiting for me to fold and put away. I don't mind cleaning clothes at all but I hate hate hate folding and putting away!!!!! I think I'll procrastinate a little bit.

I'm still deciding whether to get the flu shot. They offer it at work but between the Hep A shot and now the typhoid pills that I have to start taking today I just dunno if my system will be able to handle it. :(

Happy Sunday! I am so so so over the moon excited! Yesterday Mohammed took off work so we could spend the day together. We woke and had coffee and he mentioned the new 2007 Sentra is out. I have been looking at this new body style since last April when it was introduced.

I hate car shopping. I kinda loved my 2003 Cavalier and saw no reason to part with it other than it was now out of waranty. To make a longggggggg story short, 3 1/2 hours at the dealership and I own a brand new, 17 miles on it, silver 2007 Sentra! OMG it is so awesome. It has features I had not thought of! It has an Ipod jack in the radio, Bluetooth on the steering wheel for the cellphone, I can push the button and say 'Call Mohammed' and it does! It tells me the temp outside and how many miles til I run out of gas!! Built in cd holder above the visor and no key! It has keyless entry.

Hope you all have a good day, enjoy the moment and be good to one another.

Jackie

I never get flu shots. The risks seem to me to out weigh the benefits. I think unless you are in ahigh risk factor for flu shots, they are unnecessary. BUT I am not a doctor so take my thinking with a grain of salt.

I always get flu shots because I have asthma. The one year I didn't get a flu shot, I ended up with pneumonia. I think in general flu shots are recommended for children, the elderly, and those with respiratory illness.

Watch out - too much sitting makes the backside grow. Since I started school mine and my abdomen just keep growing. I lose weight between semesters only to find it again as soon as the semester starts. You don't want to keep that skirt from sliding down by making what is below it get bigger do you?

Hey everyone...I'm quite sad today. I'm really upset that the Christmas threads were moved. I just can't believe it. I have made a request to have them moved back. I just can't understand why they were moved or why someone would ask for them to be moved.
