Florida currently has more concealed-carry permit holders than any other state, with 1,269,021 issued as of May 14, 2014

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

it's true, in a sense. the bill that obama signed makes it a felony to protest in areas that are under watch or surveillance, whatever, by the secret service. so there are now areas where if you are part of a protest, you can be charged with a felony for being in a improper area.

i didn't watch the link but i'm sure they didn't explain it properly.

Yup, and the bill was overwhelmingly supported by both parties. But it's still all the Kenyan's doing.

I kinda like the bill anyway. There's too many people that take the "free speech" thing way too far. I wish it applied to those Baptist yahoos that protest Veterans funerals.

i don't like it, but i see why it was supported. high profile politicians have to be so well protected, adding large protests in their vicinity would make things much more difficult to secure.

If a "secret" service has an area under "secret" surveillance, how should anybody know? I guess they would have to post signs or something.

well, i would guess people would know protesting is off limits if attending a speech or event that someone with secret service protection were also attending. kinda limits things..but i wouldn't expect people against movements like occupy are complaining.
