Hi Beth. Both my parents underwent medical a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, Dad didn't pass, so both of them need to go back next week for sputum test. They stayed in Hotel Soriente for a night. They arrived in St. Luke's around 10am on their first day. Second day, they were asked to come back at 2:30pm, but showed up around noon since they checked out from the hotel already. Med fee is around P9200. Don't forget to let your Mom bring the letter from NVC that contains the MNL#. They will ask her the name of the petitioner, visa category, when is the expected departure, if there's a date for interview yet. Good luck...

The medical normally takes 2 days. Everything including the vaccines are already covered in the medical fee.

Medical fee is USD 223.00 = PhP 9,143.00. Paid in pesos. http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml

Make sure they have with them 2 copies of the appointment letter (one will be stamped by the SLEC guard and need to be brought on the interview day), 2 copies of SLEC online registration form, photocopy of passport bio page, 3 pcs 2x2 pic (NO earrings, wid collar, white background). All copies should be in a short bond paper. Petitioner's info will be asked so make sure you give a copy to your mom. SLEC current medical fee is P9143. Should be paid in peso. Goodluck!
