Hi all,

So we sent our RFE reply last April 15, 2013. On April 22, we received an email from USCIS , checked our status and it says "RFE Response Review"..The next day we checked it, it was back to "Initial Review"..

Is this normal? Or should i start to worry again. Our case has been long overdue before the RFE and i don't know how to handle another delay..

Any input is much appreciated..

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

Hi all,

Through the initial process for us, the Initial Review was showing (Except for the RFE Time) all the way until we went to the interview. It seems that the website status is not always accurate. I would not worry yet.

Thanks..i guess i dont have to worry then. My concern is that some sent RFE reply and on their uscis status, it says RFE Response Review all the way until it was approved and got their NOA 2.

Give it about 4 to 6weeks after sending RFE response to hear anything substantive - whether approved or not.

I wouldn't worry just yet, besides it's only ten days ago since you sent in the rfe response. Give it some time.

I wouldn't worry just yet, besides it's only ten days ago since you sent in the rfe response. Give it some time.

Thanks a lot. I am not particularly worried that i will wait until 60 days to hear from UCSIS..What worries me is the STATUS of my RFE which was "RFE Response Review" for just 1 day, and it went back to "INITIAL REVIEW".. I just find it so strange when some people has "RFE Response Review" status all the way until they heard a decision.
