Received NOA2 in mail today

I asked earlier about whether putting Calgary as the consulate on our I-129F form was a problem, and the answers I got said that it would be changed for us to reflect Vancouver as the consulate because Calgary doesn't handle k-1 visas. We received our NOA2 in the mail today and where it says consulate, it still says Calgary and that's where they're sending it. Will it still be changed for us or do we have to call somewhere and change it

While it's best to call and confirm, I am sure that it will end up at a place where the interviews take place.

My NOA2 didn't even list a consulate/embassy, but I confirmed with the NVC, and it's on its way to Mongolia, as it should be.

Consulate is assigned at the NVC stage. I'm pretty sure they will NOT send you to Calgary.

We just phoned uscis and the national visa center, and when we spoke to the woman at the visa center she said that because our NOA2 said it was being forwarded to the consulate listed that it wasn't even going to go through them, it was just going to be sent straight to Canada......does this happen? I thought all cases went through NVC?

You are correct, all cases go through NVC.

We just phoned NVC again, and they said that if it says on our approval notice that it's being sent to the consulate then it's not being sent to them
